The battery of this work light is protected by both the board inside the battery and the power board, ensuring safety and a long lifespan. This dual-level protection provides over-charge and over-discharge safeguards.

Battery Board Protection: - When the battery charges up to 100%, the protection board automatically disconnects the charging. - When the battery is used down to 10%, the protection board automatically disconnects the discharging.

Power Board Protection: - If the battery power is lower than 10%, the battery will be pre-charged with a small current upon plug-in. - Once it exceeds 10%, the charging will switch to a constant current mode. - When the battery is close to 95% capacity, the charging current will gradually decrease and enter a constant voltage mode until the battery reaches 100%.

The discharge current remains constant until the end, ensuring that both brightness levels won't dim as the battery runs low.

Full Charging Time: 4-4.5 hours, until the four indicators are solid and not blinking. After a full charge, the work light can last for 2.2 hours in high brightness and 5.5 hours in low brightness. Please use a 5V2A adapter or higher to charge this mechanics work light (adapter not included).
