For wood walls, wood studs should be laid on the wall, and a 3/5 inch (15mm) diameter pilot hole should be drilled using a 3/16 inch (5mm) drill bit at the center of each marked point on the installation template, which is designed for studs 16" apart.

For concrete walls, a 2 inch (50mm) deep 2/5 inch (10mm) diameter pilot hole should be drilled using a 3/8 inch (10mm) drill bit at the center of each marked point on the installation template, which is designed for brackets 16" apart.
